Travelling with my mum and young son, we had a comfortable and spacious room at Norwegian Wood. The well-equipped beds were perfect for a good night's sleep. The communal area was a hit with my son, who enjoyed playing with his toys and the kittens downstairs. The location was convenient, with easy walking distance to both Torquay and Brixham. The delicious breakfast gave us a great start to the day. Heather, the host, was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Totally recommend this hotel.

We had the most amazing stay at Norwegian Wood. The property is nestled in a breathtaking location with stunning views that took our breath away. The rooms were beautifully furnished and provided a cozy and comfortable retreat after a day of adventure. The highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast prepared by Heather, the warm and welcoming host. She even catered to our vegetarian diet with fresh and delightful options. The grounds were perfect for our kids to explore and play, and they particularly enjoyed the swing ball and making friends with the cats. The proximity to both Penzance and Torquay, with walking distance to the beaches, made it even more convenient for us. We also appreciated the opportunity to stargaze through the roof windows at night. Despite a few minor inconveniences like low windows and limited parking, we couldn't ask for a better place to stay. we highly recommend Norwegian Wood for an unforgettable experience.
